This mom is a huge fan of baby wearing. If you’ve scratched the surface, you know that your favorite wraps are like additional children. Here baby N is laying on one of his mom’s wraps (long pieces of woven fabric strong enough to support a baby).
This little guy was a very touch sensitive baby. According to his mom when he’s awake he wants to eat, and when he’s sleeping he’ll wake up if you touch him. You can imagine how that might go with a newborn session.
We never made it to advanced posing – but that’s okay, because the baby’s comfort is the most important thing, not capturing a specific image. Fortunately, there are quite a few ways to work with a baby who is reluctant to settle.
He did take a few breaks from nursing to sleep.
