Mendon Ponds Family Photos ~ Dan & Stephanie The quintessential leaf throwing activities of toddlerhood are usually thwarted in climates like ours by cold weather. This year the summer extended into fall and we had some truly lovely days for photo taking. Dan and Stephanie had never tried out family photos before and wanted to

Tamarack Boardwalk Family Photography Beata and Joe have been together since they were 14 (or 13?) years old. I remember this interesting fact from the first time I sat in her apartment when she was my graduate head resident and I was a resident adviser (RA) under her tutelage. I had just started dating my

Pillow Fight Themed Family Photography ~ Margaret & Anthony When I walked through the door I walked into Houzz.com. Margaret and Anthony’s home was magazine ready in every room, including their laundry room where I would have happily moved in for the rest of my life. Anthony is a plumber who is also apparently quite

Three Lakes Pavilion Family Photos ~ Kim & Josh
Three Lakes Pavilion Family Photos ~ Kim & Josh This Fall was unseasonably warm so late fall sessions were fantastically pleasant (as opposed to last year when our session was about a week earlier and absolutely freezing!). Brighton NY Six Week Old Baby Photography ~ Julia
Brighton NY Six Week Old Baby Photography The rules say that a newborn baby has to be photographed between 3 to 10 days old, or maybe 14 if you’re really pushing it. That’s because new babies are sleepiest, bendiest and curliest when they’re very small. As they wake up a little, they’re less apt to

Geneseo Puppy Photography ~ Kendall & Eddie When my kids ask for pets I tell them, “we have kids, not pets.” A person can only be stretched so far. But Kristen had a pretty ingenious setup – the kids gave the puppies to grandma and grandpa for Christmas, so they have a puppy-aunt and puppy-uncle

Scottsville NY Snowy Family Portraits ~ Nicole’s Kids Nicole opened the door wrapped in a bathrobe sipping tea and croaked, “It sounds worse than it is.” So she didn’t join us for this year’s photos (but hopefully she’s better now!). Serendipitously the snow was very gently falling and Nicole’s kids, who are mostly not really
