Penney’s portrait kind of person.  Studio portraits line her stairwell.  I think in this case she gave in to a little peer pressure from her friend Nella who disagrees with studios.

We met at Turning Point Park in Irondequoit, which is located on the opposite side of the gorge from Seneca Park.  It has a breath taking hill from the parking lot to the boardwalk which is fine on the way down and a little bit less fine on the way back up. I’d never been there before and the fall colors were stunning.

Success = everyone looking sort of in the direction of the camera and smiling (except for the baby who’s exempted)

We started with individual photos while the kids were still warm and feeling cooperative.

Then we moved onto the boardwalk where the kids got a little bit chillier and a little less smiley. Jedrick was really trying though! Kim said she was thankful it wasn’t snowing.

The boys were ready for some movement so they jumped for a while to warm up.

Jeston making his exhausted face.

Then Kalista and Kristiana snuck in a few snuggles with mom.

Then the kids let us know they were done and we hiked back up the breath taking hill to our cars.

Thanks so much Kim and Josh!
