Cheryl’s kids ran out the door to offer to help me bring in equipment and crowded around to play with my oinky pig. She seemed to think they were being rowdy but the liveliness of their home was lovely. They previously had family portraits done when their oldest son graduated from high school (a huge congratulations again to him and his mom who home schooled him through!).
This time, it was because Alan is being deployed shortly. My mommy-heart sank when I read this and I just have to say thank you all for your sacrifice and service to our country. It’s humbling and there’s no way we could appreciate you enough.
We started in the living room because it was cold outside. The little people found the photos way more entertaining than the older ones.
Then mom and dad jumped in. Sweaters are handmade, courtesy of grandma.
This baby is very well loved. I think she changed hands at least 15 times while I was there.
The boys stopped wrestling for 1/160th of a second for this one. It’s a lot like my house.
This one was just with dad.
Then the whole family minus the dog and pet sheep.
Thank you so much for sharing your family with me. I will be praying for you all during the next few months.
