Sure, they don’t mind people taking photos of the plants. They don’t want people going there for photo sessions…portraits, family pictures, etc. Technically, there’s a fee just like in the sunken garden!

That sounds awful! :/ On their website it only talks about permits for wedding parties. They should probably clarify that if they don’t want people taking pictures there. Especially since when you do go, there are all kinds of people photographing plants and whatnot.

they didn’t kick us out bc it was a week day and slow but the woman there made it clear to us that they usually charge for photo shoots to take place there. We felt very uncomfortable and hurried best we could.

That’s crazy! I couldn’t find anything about not being allowed to take pictures there online and I’ve been a few times without any issues, but it’s good to know.

I think it’s something like $100. We nearly got kicked out when my college age daughter was taking photos for our neighbors Christmas card this past August 2016.
