Two women were waving at me through tinted glass so I waved back and pulled around. \u00a0A woman I thought was Nicole walked over but then I realized she was definitely not Nicole. \u00a0She was saying, “It’s so nice to finally meet you!” and I was thinking, “You have me confused with someone else!” \u00a0Then she enthusiastically added, “I’m Nicole’s sister!” \u00a0The family resemblance was amazing!<\/p>\n

I had the privilege of working with Ansley and Lucas last year<\/a>. \u00a0Nicole surprised her sister with some portraits – which is a brilliant gift idea! \u00a0I assumed she was doing the same thing, but this time mom came along.<\/p>\n

Megan’s beautiful children were divided about having their photos taken. \u00a0Ansley, the model, was all about it.<\/p>\n

She acted almost like she’d waited her whole life for this moment in the spotlight. \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

Lucas, on the other hand, was none too happy to be missing cousin time on the playground nearby.<\/p>\n

So a little jumping was in order. \u00a0And also a little bantering.<\/p>\n

And finally some long awaited playground time!<\/p>\n

As you’re thinking about locations for child photography<\/a>, playgrounds and parks are a great option because they are places kids love to be. \u00a0This usually means that the children will relax and be themselves, which produces more authentic portraits. \u00a0Parks with water and features like small bridges add a lot of variety to the background. \u00a0Black Creek Park is one of my favorite places on the Westside.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
