Like many toddlers, Vera was skeptical about what the adults were up to. \u00a0I guess if you think about it from their perspective, someone takes them to a new place, then three adults act ridiculous for a while. \u00a0You can hardly blame them for their caution! \u00a0Vera was quickly wooed by Kate Fisher of Black Bird Knits<\/a> when she turned on her grandma.<\/p>\n

You can imagine that choosing a location is a huge part of location photography. \u00a0Kate happens to be friends with every artist in the Greater Rochester Area and asked her friend Lynne Feldman<\/a> if we could use her apartment. \u00a0Lynne is an accomplished artist whose apartment was an art gallery – both of her own work and of various artwork from her travels all over the world. \u00a0I was captivated by the colors and vibrancy of her work.<\/p>\n

In this image, she’s modeling the Vick Park Baby\/Toddler Vest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I have a bit of a negative association with hand knitted clothing, but Kate’s clothing was truly artwork. \u00a0I’m not sure I’ve seen work like this out of a national store. \u00a0While she doesn’t plan to sell the finished product, she can connect you with people who will knit items for you. \u00a0Just contact her to learn more<\/a>!<\/p>\n
