Before Laura became one of the very best doulas on the planet, she says she was a “wanna be” photographer. \u00a0The idea was that we would go to a park and she would take our family portraits and I would take hers. \u00a0Interestingly, my kids did not cooperate at all (I’ll publish those pictures soon anyway), and her kids, who color outside the lines, were exceedingly cooperative.<\/p>\n
We were originally planning to go to the Chili Disc Golf course but they were having a big tournament and we thought we might irritate the disc golfers so we changed course and went to Black Creek Park for our family portraits.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n This is my favorite image of Allison and Josie. They are free spirited delightful girls and I love how this captures not just their playfulness, but also their intensity.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Laura showed me an image of Allison hugging Josie this same way when she was a newborn.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n They also have a mild mannered brother named Zach who may or may not be treated this way for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n
